All depends on who you gave it to and why. Maybe you should talk to your Daddy before you do this sort of thing. You could be giving out information to the wrong people who will empty his accounts. Tell him what you did before its too late and big problems start for him.

You are passing out your Dad's savings account number? How old are you? Tell your father so he can watch his account and close it if something happens.

Yes it does matter. Tell your father what you have done, so he can involve the bank. Some people have lost thousands of dollars with this scam.

unless you have your fathers permission on giving his account number, I wouldn't of. no matter what, If I were you I would tell your dad so that he can change his account or do something about what you did. expect him to be mad, and I hope you don't do it again.the only one that should give out his account number is your dad.

No. Don't worry it's safe to do it. However, never give out credit card numbers to people who phone in.

If the account is your fathers, you shouldn't be giving away the information to anyone.
You should tell him immediately, so that he can protect his account against theft and fraud.
