When I download a letter (word doc)from a yahoo email, and saved it, but I saved it without putting it in the right place. Where does that document go? I looked on "temporary internet files" but I cant identify where the doc went? Does anybody know? I spent a lot of time editing this doc and I can't find it anymore. Help!

Click start, search, for files and folders. Type in the file name if you know it, otherwise search for *.doc which will find any word document in the selected search area.

Well it really depends on the default directory you have it set for. I mean try download another file from yahoo and see what the file path shows..

Another thing you can try to is if you know the
file name do a search for it on your hard drive.

Open it like you were going to reedit it change something small and go to file-save as. When the save as window comes up it should be the same place as where your last one was saved.
