Why is he being singled out by American Idol and the media?
If he was so horrible how did he make it this far,why did the judges advance him?
Why don't they care how all this bad attention is affecting him?
For pete sake Haley forgot most of the lyrics to her song and she didn't get such harsh comments.
Sanjaya always sings in tune and on pitch,more then I can say for some people.

Because he's just terrible!!!! People like YOU are the only reason he's still in the competition. He shows absolutely NO emotion when he sings and he's just out of his league. Its time he goes home already.

I think some people are letting his Michael Jackson-like appearance and personality fool them into thinking he's actually good. The kid is terrible! He was ok during the auditions, now all of the sudden he's practically tone deaf, how can anyone think he's on pitch?. HIs hair is ridiclous, I mean what kind of teenage boy does his hair like that? He has a sweet personality but it gets a tad annoying after a while. I really think him staying on is all for attention, it has nothing to do with the votes. American Idol has done this every season, some really ridiculous person always ends up making it far in the competition even when they dont deserve it and everyone knows it. Its all for attention and drama.

I don't know what's up with these judges ~ they put him in the top 24! Maybe it's a publicity stunt ~ look at all the media attention it's getting. But whatever the judges are up to I hope they realize that they are messing with a fragile young man ~ that has been thrust into the negative spotlight. I just hope he can handle this ~ when all is said and done!
Sanjaya really can sing! He has a wonderful unique voice. And he's gorgeous ~ come on look at that smile!

I don't care for Sanjaya because I think his tone is to immature. It's just a matter of preference. I think the judges are aware of what the media is doing to the contestants. Simon even said something about it to Antonella. That he was sorry for how she was being portrayed in the media.

Because they know he's somehow making it farther than the people with real talent. The judges are aware that this has become a bad joke, and they're disgusted. When Sanjaya makes the cut...he looks more surprised than anyone. He knows he shouldn't be there.

Cuz he sucks, he has no stage presence, & shows no emotion. He made it this far cuz Howard Stern is boycotting AI and telling his audience to vote for him in protest of AI. If the attention is affecting him he should have not tried out for AI, if u watched it in the past the judges speak the truth. I think they advanced as far as they could because they thought he would get better, hes stayed the same, boring lifeless singer.

Because he is so bad and still getting through to where he should not be over much better singers. If its true that he is getting votes based on web sites and howard stern urging people to vote for him, american idol is done because it will become a farce of itself

The only reason he is getting further on the show then we'd all like is because the girls want to see what the next gay hair style they will put on him to make him look even more like a homo! lol.
