My friend wants to sell me his old 91 Mazda 323 which is still in pretty good condition except that the automatic seatbelt mechanism on both sides are broken. They're completely loose so they would offer 0 protection on a collision. How much would it cost me to replace or fix them? The car will only cost me $400 bucks, so I wouldn't mind spending some money on safety.

Depends on which country you are from I could not see it costing anymore than 100, they are cheap and easy to fix
