wow a lot of these answers are really harsh...don't worry about them ...i have 1 2year old by c section...and i was anorexic before i had him...i cant loose they weight either
im trying a diet now eating healthy mainly vegetables, poultry, and grains....no fatty or high cholestrol foods ...walking has helped..drinking a lot of water some sweet tea and trying to add 2% milk to my diet -ive heard it helps
i cant loose weight because im on steriods for kidney disease which makes me gain weight...my weight is constantly bouncing back and forth from 115 to about 135 ...so ive come to accept it..but im not giving up either
but i think if you try walking everyday for a minimum of 30 minutes ...my diet is eat big meal at breakfast healthy ( bowl of cheerios with 2% milk and juice-for example) ..do alot of running around(chasing my 2 yearold-playing or taking him for a walk)medium lunch(left over spagetti and a salad-example)...get some more play time in...small dinner(turkey sandwhichwith lettuce)-example.....
when i wasnt on medication it helped i started to loose the weight but then my doctors upped and i gained all back ....i hope it helps i hate being like this too- idont count carbs i dont think thats any way to live life but moderation and increased activity has always helped

Sometimes you have that extra skin that won't go away especially with pregnancies back to back. Once you stretch the skin it doesn't always fit right back in place. For the weight I suggest signing up at a gym with a qualitied personal trainer. (some gyms don't require them to have degrees and you want someone that can teach you healthy eating and exercising.) This way you are getting not just someone showing you exercising, but the whole healthy package. Places like Curves and L.A. Weightloss are starting to pop up everywhere. Curves I believe is women only, which I think can really benefit a woman losing pregnancy weight (there will probably be other women in the same boat) If the skin is still really loose and bothering you after you have dropped the weight, then maybe extreme is the way you need to go. Best of luck!

Some of these people are just wrong. Just because the first person "looks fine" doesn't mean everyone is so lucky when they have pregnancies, whether they have a c-section or not. I have friends who are even skinnier than they were before they got pregnant and they have tried everything and still have that extra pooch of skin and fat in the belly area. For some people there is nothing that can be done to lose it. Make sure you are getting at least 30 - 40 minutes of cardio in 4 - 6 days out of the week if you can. Spot training can tighten muscles, but you won't notice it unless you do cardio to burn off the fat. If this doesn't help then you are probably just one of the unlucky ones who can't lose her baby belly. If you are done having children, and if it really bothers you, then you could go in for a tummy tuck, no, it's not gastric bypass. A tummy tuck is where they remove a little of the excess fat and a little of the excess skin and make your tummy appear tighter. Good Luck to you.

I had a hard time too. I do the prevention videos with Chris Freytag, she has some good workout videos that covers everything. You can get them at preventionvideos.com Then I buy those low calorie foods, I eat turkey and chicken sandwiches, I drink yogurt drinks and low calorie sweets and other snacks. Shouldn't lose more than 2 pounds a week. I don't eat after 4, and if I have to then I have a bowl of healthy cereal to kill the hunger pain. This is what I do and it works, at least for me. It's my own diet plan.

Your body is never going to be *exactly* the same. It isn't the same, it's done hard work three times over and has been cut into three times over.
You should try to focus on your health and your fitness rather than your weight or your appearance. Improve your stamina, strength and flexibility and develop a body that is suited to what you do every day, caring for a large family, the work of a mother. What size you wear or how loose or tight your tummy aren't nearly as important as what you can do with the incredible machine with which you've been gifted.

Dude... You need to exercise... I mean do cardio exercise such as walking, running, swimming and others. If you don't like running or swimming, just walk around your house or go for a walk to see chicks joging =] Also you need to go on a diet, but don't decrease your calorie intake too drastically.Your body won't get used to it. Just take like 1/4 of the plate is rice,1/4 is protein and the other 2/4 is vegetables. Also, try not to lose more than 2 lbs per week.If not,you will end up losing muscles because your using muscles as energy. Lastly, get enough sleep.Sleep at least 8 hours a day.Even sleeping uses calories.

I have had two c-sectons and I cannot lose the weight either! I'm a very active person and it just won't go away! I guess it just depends on your body type. The only suggestion that I have is to accept that you are the way you are and personally the way I think about it is, It was worth every pound! I love my children and they love me uncondiotionally! Heavy or not!

yes it does matter that you had a c-section I had one myself too. The thing is that you had your kids back to back and never gave you self anytime to lose the weight. I have a 9 month old son and I just stared losing the weight because I asked my doctor how can I lose the weight and he told me to do 200 to 300 step up a day and that has worked for me I was weighing 150 and I already dropped to 130 so try it maybe it will work for you.

I have has a c-section 2 regular deliveries and one more coming up here in August. I have never been able to lose the fat roll that goes above my incision. No matter what I have done. I think it is because they have cut the stomach muscles. All I can say is try doing stomach crunches- Focus on that area of the stomach.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
