I have a limitied amount of money but, want to get out and do something fun. Any ideas? I live near Pasadena, California.

Wow!!! I say go to a local park. There is supposed to be wonderful weather here in Cali for the next few days...not hot....not cool. Let them help you pack lunches and drinks and head out!!! Take a ball, bubbles, jump-rope (dollar stores) and go for it. The best part is, there so many of them you will actually just be an onlooker of the six. Be sure to bring a blanket so that the little ones can fall out while the big kids continue to hang out.
Remember , money doesn't make you rich----life does!!

Depending on if the weather allows you too. I would pack up a picnic basket and go hang out at a park. Have the kids bring things to play with at a park. ex: kite, squirt guns buckets and shovels for the sand..etc...My four children LOVE doing this on the days I don't have extra funds.

you're minding 6 kids and you're worried about having something to do?
