It's a really good website it has a very nice calendar of upcoming anime coming out in japan a list of the latest releases and a big anime archive of the different fansub group's websites that worked on them.
Just look up an anime find the group that subbed it in english (england flag) and click on it, it'll take you to a page where it lists the groups website, info, and anime they've worked on.

No mental ward but it's a really dark anime, and it has a lot of real issues,
There's also Full Metal Alchemist, It's really really good.
And is probably one of the best anime's since Akira

Ayashi no Ceres fits pretty well with those parameters, except maybe mental ward.

I can't put them all in one. But if you want mental ward and confusion you can try Spiral. But if you want love and emotion...sorry can't help.
