Dont know where you heard that but I can assure you Killzone isnt.Killzone like most sony exclusives(except Tekken and MGS) have no innovation and just have good graphics.
The first killzone was supposed to be a "Halo Killer" but it was average and sold poorly.Halo has an excellent story,good gameplay,lots of weapons and an unrivalled multiplayer online and off.
The closest Sony have come to matching Halo is resistance fall of man which is a WW2 meets Alien Invasion first person shooter but even that doesnt compare to Halo 3.

killzone sucks compared to halo someone is trying to **** you up get halo two or pre order halo 3 cuz they are the best two also play with friends on multiplayer if you can set up a local area network you can play with like 16 of your friends i did this and we played until noon the next day

That was just internet buzz running around the forums and wherever else people talk about video games and impact majority of people. And it was considered "supposedly" the Halo killer. But it was really horrible, bad aiming, long range weapons worked for close range, and close range worked for long range. Everything was so backwards and turned out a whole mess. If it stays long enough for the PS3, I hope to see it turn out a whole lot better than what the PS2 did.
