When the AMA the American Medical Association, put a qouta on the # of Md's their could be in the country. Thus creating an artificial shortage of Doctors. Thus with a small supply of Doctors coupled with an ever incresing demand for medical services medical prices skyrocket.

When doctors and other health care workers thinks more about the almighty buck, than the welfare of people who needs their care. There use to a time, when a people went into the medical profession for the welfare of humanity. Now it is all about how much money is in it for them.

When they stopped making house-calls and accepting a chicken or two for payment it all went awry. Actually I believe once insurance companies became involved, like everything else they are involved in it becomes crooked. However once doctors started to get rich, there was no turning back. Money corrupts all.

for every affliction known to man, and then not pay coverage for it.
