My doctor told me that im having a big baby but he wont induce me untill 41 weeks, and i have no signs of labor at all yet. Plz tell me ways to get in to labor soon. Im tired already!

I was going to be induced the next day, and so I tried the Castor oil as a last ditch effort.
I took one tablespoon of Cator oil and was in labor within an hour and had the sweet baby boy that night!
He was a little overdue, so he was ready to come.
The doctor said that it does work in most cases, but in some it causes diarhea. EEk
I know that this method is not natural, and I haven't heard that it is dangerous, but it is a solution.

I watch this show called House of Babies that comes on the Discovery Channel. It is about a birthing house in Miami, FL. The head midwife recommends to her patients on the show to take a tsp of Castor oil to help induce labor. It may cause diarrhea so watch for that. She also recommends breast pumping. This causes the uterus to contract and sometimes causes women to go into labor.

There's really nothing that works for everybody, but a lot of people tell me they go for walks, etc. Just don't do anything like take castor oil, that can be dangerous. Babies just naturally come when they're ready (which often times is a lot later than when Mom is ready). Hang in there, you're almost there!

Your licensed medical doctor might medicinally induce labor by prescribing medicine that helps soften and open the cervix.

It sounds bad but my boyfriend and I had rough sex (from the back) and I started contracting 1 hour later and our son was born 15 min after I got to the hospital.It might hurt but its definatly worth it.

WALK WALK WALK>>> put me into labor on my exact due date... knee bends... stimulate nipples produces oxytocin production and contractions... sex i hear works to thin the cervix out.. but WALK WALK WALK>>>> it will do the trick...
