I've seen a lot of answers and questions on Yahoo Answers in which people say, "We are all one" or "We all shed the same blood", or something to that affect. I've heard others say (and I tend to agree) that we should "celebrate our diversity" and "accept that we are all different." Well, which is it? Do you think we are all the same, or all we all different? The former never made much sense to me, but I'd like to hear other opinions. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Personally, I feel like we are all of a common thread being part of the human race but within that we are all different and should embrace our differences and accept others.

Yes definitely. We are all humans and should not treat any as a lesser being or property. We should extend respect and tolerance to all until an individual shows that they don't deserve it i.e. by committing a crime. On the other hand we all have different cultures and are diverse. We should celebrate these differences and respect them.

Diversity is great and we should celebrate it but also be able to share the things we have in common. It would be boring if everyone was the same and it would also suck if no one had similarities.

Let's celebrate diversity, because monotony and homogeneity would be absolutely boring. Could you envision 6 billion clones of yourself walking the face of the earth without any one dissenting voice?

We are not all one and we were not all created equal. I don't know about celebrating but there is a lot of difference in the various races and cultures.

You write well. I assume your smart. You should be celebrating diiferences. But NEVER incourage stupid people to celebrate differences. The first step is to get people to realize we are all equal. Then, based on their ability to grasp that, we move into "equal but different".

We should celebrate that we are all a lot of nothing but hot air and believers of fairy tales and have a dying planet to show for it

I think that we are all different , and we should embace our differences. I dont think that anybody is better than another, I think we should all just be happy to be different and just except people for who or what they are.
