The last time someone called me junior I punched them in the face. I would much rather be scooter. It can have so many better meanings that junior. The only good junior is if you are named after someone. Other than that it is more deragatory.

Junior, because you can always change it to JR when you grow up. Scooter is just wrong to nickname a kid, it sounds more like a dog name.

My nick name was skipper when I was little, but I think junior is better than scooter, and my nickname is also junior because my dad has the same name as me.
