Is My Chemical Romance a satanic group?

Im a really big fan. im not a new fan or anything. ive liked them since 2002 and i have all there albums. i know its sort of stupid about asking a question like that now. but i was reading some information about them in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Cheers_for_Sweet_Revenge
and it kinda confused me on what type of group they are. i dont think they are. i hope they aren't. and yes it would matter to me.

I don't think they're a satanic group. Other people said that they sing about vampires, but like the wikipedia page you provided said (which was very interesting to read...) they were referring to the "social vampire" philosophy which isn't the blood thirsty soul sucking ones that most people think of. If you read the wikipedia page then you know that they have a lot of references to Satan and Hell, but the main character was using it to be reunited with his lover. I think later with the story for the album the main character regrets doing what he did (gathering souls, as described on the wikipedia page) and realizes that it was wrong.
In their new album they deal a lot with finding redemption for the things you did in the past, learning from what you did in the past, and becoming a better person.
So no, I don't think they are satanic.
