I am married, but am having an emotional affair with a man. The affair had been physical, but over the past few months, it's been of a more emotional nature. We are still very good friends. This guy however still wants me to come and see him just to hang out and cuddle, talk, etc. What do I make of this? Is he still wanting the physical aspect? (he claims he doesn't want it, but I think otherwise).

I think the best thing you can do for you and this other person is to create some space between the two of you. Don't return any emails or phone calls until he understands that if you want to be friends that is ok but nothing more. If he cant understand this then you will just have to let him go

You know honestly I have been there exactly where you are. But when I got home and looked my husband in the face I would feel horrible about what I had done. He after all was my husband. I knew I had a decison to make. I chose my husband because I loved him and knew he was were my life needed to go. Not some emotional affair. To a female. Weither it is physical or not it is an affair. A look can be an affair. You really for your wife need to make a decision and stick by it. If you chose your wife just feel your mind and thought with her. Fall in total love with her again. Fall in love with the idea of being married and be with her. If your going to be somewhere (with your wife or the other guy) be all there. Someone has got to go its only fair

Do you think continuing to lie to your wife about this would be good for you? I mean your obviously cheating on her. Don't you feel guilty? I mean what do you want? Do you want to be happy with this guy or do you want to continue to lie to your wife and sneak around. I think the initial pain of divorcing your wife would hurt, but I think you might be strong enough to handle it and continue a happy relationship with the guy. You guys could work through it together. The only reason I'm taking the "gay" side is becasue I'm a true believer against cheating. I would hope that you would choose one over the other and let the other person go and stop cheating on either of them.
You also need to look at it from their point of view. You going back and forth between them. This is hurting them, and I'm not sure that you want to do this. So i think the best to do is figure out the inital question...

he wants to cuddle...umm yeah he still wants more than that. If your not happy with your husband why are you still with him...you two should have talked bout your problems instead of having an affair. it would make this decision a bit easier don't you think?

What you are doing to your wife is unacceptable. If you truly love her, you need to cut ALL ties to this man and be faithful & HONEST with her. What has she done to deserve that kind of treatment?? If u dont love her, leave her. If u do love her but you need the company of other men, at least give her the respect of being honest and giving her the OPTION to stay with u or not.
What u r doing is one of the exact reasons the gay community gets a bad rep.
