I used to love watching the Ultimate Warrior (Not "Warrior" in WCW, head of the oWn). When his music came on, your excitement level just rose to the max. He ran down to the ring and shook the ropes and got everybody into it. I enjoyed his matches with Hogan and I also enjoyed how he beat Triple H faster than you can say Hunter Hearst Helmsley. I didn't like the night when Papa Shango put a "spell" on him and made him vomit all over the place and all over everybody. As for his WCW days, I try to block it out of my mind just as I blocked out Michael Jordan's days with the Washington Wizards out of my mind

No. The Ultimate Warrior was a very unprofessional drug addict. He had a reputation for being an extremely poor in ring performer as well as a jerk backstage. He may have appealed to me as a kid, but as I got older, I realized that this guy really sucked. He was nothing but the original Batista and Batista sucks in the ring and he admitted to borrowing some of his gimmick from the Warrior. So no I am not a fan of the Ultimate Warrior. He was a no talent hack that needed to be "carried" to a good match.

Definitely the man. Wrestling nowadays is unwatchable without that over the top element it used to have. It was people like Ultimate Warrior (RIP) that made WWF, they need to bring back the theatrics, now it's just a gay soap opera. Come on, Chris Benoit? Guys don't even come up with cool names and personalities anymore.

I loved his character and he was definitely much better than they made him sound on the Self Destruction of Ultimate Warrior DVD after all he became the Champ but it's not about talent it's about three things character, commitment and effort and he put all that in and as a very kiddy character it's amazing that he could stick around still in the late 90s which was a very no gimmicks time, very hardcore so I think he's incredible.

No way. Jim Helwig (now known legally as Warrior Warrior) was a worse wrestler than Hulk Hogan. He would get blown up (winded) just running to the ring. He had 2 moves (clothesline and press slam). Just because the marks cheered for him for a couple years doesn't mean he was a great wrestler. I don't mean to denegrade your opinion, but this is mine.
To me he is one of the top 5 WORST wrestlers ever.

I, admittedly, was a fan of his. He had the type of ring-entrance that just got you pumped and genuinely excited to see him in the ring. And granted, you hear wrestlers today that had worked with him say that he wasn't that good to begin with or that he was as unprofessional as they come. He was an unfortunate victim of success and greed taking him over.

I can take him or leave him. He was crazy on the interviews though with his stint in WCW. Warrior was using some huge words the fans could not find in the dictionary readily.
