I was nauseous for almost 4 months everyday. Nothing made me feel better. I rarely ever vomited just felt like I needed to all hours of the day. Its horrible but stick in there. Hopefully by the end of the first trimester you will feel better. Let me tell you it is the most wonderful feeling in the world when pregnancy nausea goes away

hi hun i have had 5 children and only felt nauseus with 3, it is completely normal and should pass within the first 12-14 weeks, it can go on longer and am not trying to upset you, assuming you want honest answers, i had it for 13 weeks the first, 24 weeks the third and ...........sorry.....all the way thgrough with the last. I found that ginger biscuits, before i got out of bed also dry toast for breakfast, sounds disgusting but ,... hey if it works!!!!!!!!!!! also lots of water and avoid milky drinks, it is all worth it in the end trust me, you do actually get used to it and the minute you give birth all the horrid things you suffer will vanish, good luck and hope it becomes more bearable for you, its just to remind you that you are carrying a wonderful new life so be brave and be well.

There is no hard and fast rule regarding 'morning sickness' Some people have it in the morning, some in the afternoon, some all day! Some people are terribly sick, others just have that awful nauseated feeling. I have had 6 pregnancies and never once been actually sick, just nauseated on and off all day for at least the first 12 weeks.
It should ease off after the end of the first trimester, you are half way there, just hang on in there!!

congratulations. being 6 weeks pregnant and feeling sick i think is normal. In the first 12 -15 weeks of pregnancy your body is doing sooooo much to help this baby develop. i had morning sickness 24-7 for 21 weeks and my god I hated it. People said to me eat ginger biscuits, eat this eat that. but nothing really worked. I just coped with it and then all of a sudden it disappeared and i felt so much better. I was blooming!!! enjoy itxx

Oh sweetie, I had morning sickness for 18 weeks straight and felt like I was going to throw up for the whole time I was awake, but didn't actually manage to. It's perfectly normal. Try some ginger biscuits or ginger tea - this will help relieve the feeling of nausea.

Good luck! xxx

I am 9wks pregnant and have been feeling terribly sick all day every day but haven't actually been sick, but have been assured by my midwife this is normal and perfectly fine.
However, like you, it is doing my head in because I know if I puke I would feel so much better during the rest of the day!!

Good luck!! xx
