Does anyone know a website where i can read full books for free online? like all kinds of books like books you need for reports and just regular books you can read such as maximum ride. i know amazon does that, but only if you're a member and you bought something already, which i didn't. PLEASE answer!!!!! i really need to know!!!

I think for a book's text to be put online for free use, the author has to have been dead a certain number of years (not sure how many). I know the entire book "Moby Dick" is online, because I just did a paper on it and I used the online version to search for certain references that I could remember reading, but couldn't remember exactly where in the text.

I found one site called ReadPrint.com that has quite a few books. I also found one called ManyBooks.net. If you do a search from metacrawler.com, put in "free books online" and you can get a list of sites to check out. Good luck!

I think Google is doing something on that as Beta right now. Try their "MORE" link. Then go to "Book Search."
