Steve, the problem with your argument is that my question never mentions Muslims! If you know that a question about a book saying to behead is about the Koran and Islam then you can't deny that that's what they say! If you don't believe that's what it's about, how could you know that's what I was getting at? I never mentioned Islam in my question!

No more than we should condemn Christians or Jews for carrying out the atrocities taught in the Bible:
If you check out “ Leviticus “ Chap: 20, you will find that there are many reasons, for ‘ believers’ to put people to death.
e.g.
v:9 Anyone who curses either parent must die.
V;10 The man or woman who commits adultery must die.
{ Interestingly, in the new Testament when Jesus stopped the execution of the woman taken in adultery, where was the man? It would seem there may have been a bit of sexism involved.}
v;11 anyone committing incest must die.
V; 13 Any one who lies with someone of the same sex as they would with someone of the opposite sex, of course, must die.
V;27 Any man or woman who is a magician must be put to death by stoning.
Enough examples from this book, Exodus has a couple of dandies.
Chap22v17; You shall not allow a witch to live. [ countless thousands of innocent women and men met very cruel deaths because of this one verse.]
Chap 31 v 12-17; Anyone who works on the Sabbath, must be put to DEATH. They are the Bosses orders. [ YAHWEH Himself or is it Herself ] ? The Sabbath is Sat. not Sun. The day of worship was changed by the Roman Catholic church, centuries later.
Many of the other books in the Old Testament are filled with horrendeous stories of justified massacres and slaughters.

Revelations is an account of God's ruthless, terrifying and violent power that will be unleashed on non-believers. . There is enough hatred, bigotry and lust for violence in the pages of the Bible to satisfy anyone bent on justifying cruelty and violence.

If a few boy scouts followed the handbook and cut people's heads off, but then you decided that all Boy Scouts were evil because of it, that would be wrong.

How do you function on a daily basis? Could you be any more paranoid?Live your life...whatever happens will happen, but we can not live our lives in fear of what could happen.
