I need your help. I'm thinking of getting my very first tattoo, but I don't know what to get. Any Ideas or suggestions? Thank you guys!

I think you should take a lot of time to consider what you would like to get permenatly put onto your body. I don't really like flash tattoos. It's like getting a tattoo just to say ...hey i got a tattoo. Also, think long and hard about where you are going to put it. If you think you'll be ok with a tattoo on your shoulder and you wear a strapless wedding dress...then get it there. I have two tattoos, but I have them in places that only I can see. I have a sun and a moon together (kind of a flash tattoo, but I love suns and moons) on my back, and a heart with a peace sign in the middle of it on my hip. I love both of them and don't regret them. I just think sometimes 18-21 y/o get them because they think they look cool. It's not about looking cool, it's about putting a piece of art work onto your body.

DO NOT pick something off the wall! Make it meaningful. Take your ideas to a true tattoo artist and have them draw something so it is unique. If you can print pictures of your ideas it is more helpful for the artist.
Also, don't go to some random Joe. Find a professional to do it, a tattoo is permanent!!

Whichever you choose, don't do it on the exposed parts of your body. Who would like to have his grandchildren asking "grannie, what's that big horrifying dragon on the back side of your neck? you're scaring us".

what do you like? what do you value? are you married? maybe somebodys name, something from your childhood, a remembrance of someone...or you could always go for a butterfly, rose, etc.

actually most decent guys do not like tatoos. I would suggest that you NOT get a tatoo. when you are 60 years old, do you still want that butterfly on your ***?
it is pretty skanky for women to have tatoos. DO NOT GET IT
