I eat the worst food ever!!! I am super busy and I only ever have time for fast foods. Also my mom never keeps food in the house so if I'm hingrey I need to go out and find my own food. I can buy my own food. Usually I am stocked up on granola bars and bottles of water but what else can I eat on the go that is heathy. I find eating junk food all the time has resulted in me getting sick alot and carrying a few extra pounds. any advice what can I buy for myself that is heathly, and that i can carry around with me ?

Water is a wonderful choice, but granola really isn't all that good for you. I instead recommend the following things
Carrot stick are great! You could buy yogurt, oranges, apples, and grapes. Just remember to buy a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables! Odwalla bars are good! Nugo bars are also good.
Try to keep to your calorie intake limit of 2,000. Limit yourself. No matter how good that chocolate chip cookie looks to you, DO NOT eat it! Always imagine that cookie is your death food. Imagine the worst...
When you eat out, no matter how difficult it is, order the vegetables instead of the meat. You have got to watch Supersize Me! After watching it, lots of people are never tempted to eat at Mcdonald's again! Try subway. If you ever eat chinese food, never order kung pao chicken! It's 1300 calories per serving! It's crazy! Do not eat so much meat! I know most meat substitutes are nasty, but I very strongly recommend Morningstar! You can find it in the freezer section of your nearest grocery store and it tastes exactly like the real thing! No chocolate! No sugar! (or at least cut down a lot) No oily, greasy foods! No overlyprocessed foods! I'm going to repeat myself: eat fresh!
And you might want to try to look up inspirational weight loss stories on youtube. It really gets you determined.

Good luck! I know if you follow this, you can eat healthier!

I hear you.Listen Mc Donalds have the side salad and Mc Chicken for a buck each.I buy those and throw the bread out to the birds.Good, cheap, and quick chicken salad. They also have the yogurt cups.If you can buy your own food, then buy fruit and veggies and keep them handy. We only eat what is handy.Try putting your money in the trunk of the car, you will not be so apt to driving up to the drive thru.Hope this helps.

u can take a pack of chicken breasts and divide it, saute half in lite italian dressing sprinkled with lemon pepper and saute the other half in a little worstershire sauce , salt, pepper and butter pam. mmmmmmm . you can eat some now with a salad and veggies and freeze some in small freezer bags for later. microwave, toss a salad and your done. I liked to keep a canteloupe and honey dew melon cut in small pieces to snack on in the fridge. Also the lorna doone 100 calorie snack packs are so good. Also you can get Wendys chili or plain baked potato, taco bell tacos al fresco (no cheese), the fruit and walnut salad or fruit parfait from mcdonalds, subway has several lowfat sandwiches just use honey mustard or regular, salads at all the fast food joints, even sonic has fat free smoothies which are good, fat free frozen yogurt from baskin robbins.

You can get those little Ziploc bags & put Wheat Thins, Carrots, Grapes, String cheese, Ham or Turkey, Nuts, or Any other fruits & Veggies in them & keep them in the fridge or in the pantry & when you get hungry or when you are on the run you can just grab a bag or 2 and go! It is quick easy & healthy! I do that & I love it! It is better than me just grabbing a twinky or chips. I hope ths helps! Good Luck :)

Banana's are a great on the go food. Also, if you slice an apple before leaving the house and put it in a zip-lock they are a great food to eat in the car. Good luck!

That should help alot. Pack snack bars with LOTS of fiber. Fiber keeps you feeling full forever, and its really good for you.
