Such a question as this is best answered in volumes of books and after hours of thought. Though many Indians view India as a superpower-in-the-making, it has miles to go. To put the onus on the PM to take the country forward is sheer double-standards. Disregarding the fact that I would never become PM, here are some of the results I would expect from any PM.
1. Select a responsible and trustworthy team to form the Cabinet.
2. Enact a law that bars all those with criminal cases pending against them from contesting elections.
3.Make education free for all. (If India is to move from a agri-based economy to a industry oriented one, the displaced farmers need to know another skill to carry on with their lives.) This would also reduce poverty.
4. Improve accessability of micro-credit for farmers and the lower sections of society.
5. Make the growth of the country more inclusive by distributing wealth and have a strict tax structure.
6. Cut the bulk in bureaucracy by sacking all the non-performers and cutting the red-tapism that breeds corruption.
7. Effect a health policy that will ensure proper medical treatment for all sections of society.
8. Help the youth realise their tremendous potential in taking the country forward.
Finally, help every Indian citizen that they contribute to the growth of the country. Corruption, negligence and sycophancy are rampant in the country only because we allow it continue. If we don't encourage these baneful values it simply means that we are not vocal in stamping them out.

company - nicely accomplished, nicely written. between the multitude of information papers this editorial sticks out. Even jointly as the editor should be look after the corporate targets. Fourth sources - why media is talked approximately as so. alongside with the administrative, legislature & judiciary the media has a social accountability. This social accountability desires to be usual on a every day foundation by making use of elevating each and every journey that are no longer in choose or the habit of the society, in a manner honest to all. Water gate in u . s . bring about the down fall of a president there. this is how fourth sources is predicted to accomplish. it rather is meant to divulge the info and emotions that switched over in to activities, interior the society, as a replace of reporting merely what befell. Media is meant to offer feed back to all the different 3 estates their overall performance appraisal on a customary foundation. the sensation of the electorate. it is going to become the reformator of the society. it is going to no longer BEG FOR the terrific, it is going to call for the terrific. it is going to steer the reformation. maximum regrettably the media is likewise funded by making use of those goons stated interior the editorial. it rather is funded by making use of classified ads by making use of those segments quite than the reader who buys it at a value plenty below its production value. The citizen of India has to spare sufficient of his source to purchase a information paper no longer funded by making use of classified ads. Then the citizen turns into the grasp of the information paper AND his voice would be heard interior the direction of the pages.
