How do you save your game progress on the Sims 2 for GBA???

I know I'm an idiot, I bought this game used with no manual and I want to save my progress on the game I'm playing but I can't figure out how to do it!!!

Do I have to complete an episode before I can save it???

DANGIT! Help!

Hit "select", and you'll get to the options menu. "Save game" is one of the options. :)
