Well, when Rumsfeld said that about the $$, on 9/10/01, you have to realize that he was talking about money spent during the Clinton administration, claro?

At that point, Bush had been in office less than 8 months, and the US was still operating under Clinton's last budget. Since the military annual budget was under $400 Billion in the Clinton administration, that means you're talking about most of the Defense spending under Clinton.

So why are you so down on Clinton's reckless and wasteful spending of the taxpayers' money?

And if you think that terrorist gave false testimony, then you truly have let your "hate everything Bush" belief cloud your perception. Good luck with that.

Oh yes; I absolutely believe everything the Pentagon says -- even if the Pentagon is represented by a taxpayer-supported administrative type. Come to think of it, the Pentagon is taxpayer-supported, and so is everyone in government, and I certainly trust implicitly every one of MY employees.

Why? What makes you think they're untrustworthy? Isn't that rather reactionary on your part? You silly thing!

I believe NOTHING the Pentagon, or anyone affiliated with the Bush administration say. Look at their record, for God's sake! They've done nothing but lie to and otherwise deceive the American people, the Congress, the rest of the world. Everything they've touched, they've lied about!
