me too! it's so annoying it does it loads. If you still have the old original windows messenger that should work or try logging on on ebuddy.com

attempt utilising a mutliclient messenger as a replace, MSN messenger is junk. i might propose Pidgin. helps MSN, aim, yahoo, jabber, IRC, and notably plenty another important IM customer. Google the observe "Pidgin", may be the 1st result.

Neither is mine - I think it is msn not our machines/connections, guess we'll just have to wait till it works again.

me too i thought it was my pc i re insatlled windows live messenger but now know its a messenger fault we just got 2 wait for it 2 come back on

Mine is down aswel, and i think it is the same error number. i've just given up because they are probly just updating the system or something techinical t hat i won't understand! lol

uninstall then restart pc then re-install msn live messanger i had that problem and thats how i solved it

I couldn't log in, so I tried the troubleshooter and it said that the gateway was offline.
