Should there be a test?

The more and more I go into fast food restaurants... the more there should be a READING and VERBAL UNDERSTANDING test. 99% of fast food workers are idiots, overweight, uneducated, no hygiene. Who agrees w/ me?

Be happy they aren't out on the street selling your kids drugs to make money. They need to have a job, everyone has that right.
You don't know their background till you walk a mile in their shoes. Give them a break.

I don't mean this offensively in the least bit, but if you are still eating at fast food places, then YOU are uneducated on the matter. Fast foods are loaded with unhealthy, unhygenic chemicals, preservatives, dyes, trans fats, growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and all manner of unhealthy food. There is no nutritional value in any fast food, except perhaps a salad, which is still laced with pesticides and anti bacterials. Go to McDonalds web site and look at the nasty ingredients in that stuff. I don't eat anything I cannot readily identify as food-and you will find little real food in a fast food restaurant. The workers are largely slow and unhygenic because their bodies are toxic from the stuff they sell. Anyone with some sense of self and pride is not going to get a job peddling unhealthy crap to unknowing consumers-so thats why it draws the more ignorant types to work there

I don't want to be prejudice against all fast food workers. However, I would have to say that an above average percentage of them have poor hygiene and a hard time getting an order straight. I blame part of it on the squawk boxes they use, another on probable poor training, the pressure to go quickly and low pay attracts the lesser educated and low pay also causes employees to lose enthusiasm quickly for a job well done. I have also come across witty, clean employees who are there to serve you.

I agree with you Baby. Most of the employees are idiots. They should train them or hire someone with a little sense. The people they hire need to go back to school before entering the work force. Morons should not be hired by anyone.

Well, seeing that it's a free country there would most likey never be a test like that. The sad fact is that people have the right to become uneducated...and gross. LOL. Just grin and bear it and know that you're not like that.

Here's an idea...stop going into fast food restaurants. Learn to cook. Or find someone who loves you to cook for you :)

I somewhat agree. Some people hired at fast food restuarants can't even communicate with their customers. The employers should be more considerate and careful.

WOW I work at Burger King and run track, soccer, and am 5th in my class. Now Day crew you are right, Night Crew is the Highschool shift we are smart. We just need a job

I don't know if its 99 % but it's up there. but i've met some hot chicks in fast food places.
