I have been experienceing tender breast and sensitivity. Sometimes for no reason my breast get tingle pulses throught them and are very sensitive to touch and this really hasnt ever happened to me. I know I'm not pregnant, because I just had my period, and now during my period my breast are even more sensitive. I'm very emotional now and get heartburn alot. What could it be?

If you drink coffee or colas, switch to CAFFEINE free. I used to drink one large (20 oz) coffee every morning and my breasts were always tender. My doctor suggested I give up caffeine. It wasn't easy (headaches and withdrawal symptoms) but it only took about 3 days for the cravings to stop. Since then I haven't had any tenderness.

Just an FYI -caffeine has a negative affect on the body's production of hormones (which includes estrogen and adrenalin) which causes breast tenderness in women.

I agree with getting your hormones checked.
Also, be careful for odd sensations and symptoms in your breasts, could be breast cancer. A routine screening is always helpful. Its not likely by your symptoms but rarer things have occured.

I think it's just normal for some women. Some can't stand touching while other women could care less.

How old are you? perimenapause perhaps? Go see your OBGYN and have your estrogen levels checked.
