USB allows the PC BIOS & Windows to more easily & effeciently manage resources such as interupts & com ports.
USB keyboards can also be safely connected & disconnected from the PC without needing to power off or reboot.
The keyboards themselves do not benefit nor is their performance compromised by one connection or the other, however, all-in-all USB is a better way to go

well i would suggest you using usb wireless if u can afford it and if not dont even buy the serial port one most of the computer are now switiching to usb and it better if u have 2.0 usb.....

Use the coloured circle thingy's because it (windows) doesnt need to load asses (give, whatever) runtime to the keyboard if it is on there because of something (i cant remeber) but it will make ur PC SLIGHTLY faster (I think)
