The first could be anywhere from $300 to thousands depending on the lawyer and if they agree or disagree on everything; the second what it really costs in dollars is thousands, there is lost property, lost equity in a home, relocation, all those expenses; not to mention the cost to the emotional well being of each person whether they want the divorce or not.....and most importantly, the price the kids have to pay......which a number can't be put on,
