you mean just the divorce or what a divorce costs? The first could be anywhere from $300 to thousands depending on the lawyer and if they agree or disagree on everything; the second what it really costs in dollars is thousands, there is lost property, lost equity in a home, relocation, all those expenses; not to mention the cost to the emotional well being of each person whether they want the divorce or not.....and most importantly, the price the kids have to pay......which a number can't be put on,

Depends if your a man or a woman.
If your a man everything you have ever saved and worked for, House, car, boat, cottage, time shares, air millage points, you name it it's gone.
If your a woman it will cost you $2000.00 to $10,000.00, then add all of the above taken from the man and subtract %10 to %20 for the blood sucking lawyer.
If your the man I forgot to mention you can work a deal with the lawyer to make payment's over a specific time this will keep you in the poor house till retirement, where you will die cold, hungry, and forgotten.
Or hook up with a sugar mama and blow out of the country.

Depends on where you are at, if it is contested, if there is a custody battle and who the lawyer is.... Some lawyers charge a minimal fee if it is uncontested. My friend just got a divorce for $600 because it was uncontested.
