In my opionion, today's educational system is degrading. I know a few teachers myself who shouldn't even be teaching at all. It's so scary how just about anyone can work at a school now. The requirements are getting a lot easier now and all the tax payers' money don't seem to be helping out the school system at all. Both of my nieces' teachers have to buy their own supplies just to teach some of the material to their students. Kids are barely getting by and graduating. If you ask them a question about their curriculum chances are they probably won't even remember about it a month down the road. It's really sad how all the great minds are going to waste because the system doesn't really care and push them to try harder.
