Keep Vernon Wells. Bobby Abreu is just getting old and his performance will be descending soon. Vernon Wells is still good and at a reasonable young age.

wells all the way. he hits in a younger faster line up.
only thing abreu gives you is average he won't steal you 30 bases anymore he's not a power guy anymore and he hits in a part of the order where he won't get many rbi's chances.
if anything you should trade abreu just don't drop him. get rid of some of them reliever pitchers i'm sure you have-you can win a league with out saves or middle relief pitchers-so dump them and go out and trade abreu for a starting pitcher.
my suggestions would be to either get ian snelling of the piartes because he did pretty good for a crappy pirates team-that team just got better by the way. but if you can get better for bobby..then do so.
but don't just drop him-that would be stupid.
by the way i am considered and expert in fantasy ball.

tough call. if this was a long range forecast it would be Wells, no contest. But for just next season, either one could put up better fantasy points only because Abreu has a better supporting cast. And Wells is settling in on a nice big contract extension. He could become complacent for a year or two, while Abreu is playing for his next contract. The only way you could go wrong is to keep the guy that gets injured and nobody can tell you whom that could be.

Vernon Wells. 3 hole hitter in a dangerous lineup. Abreu is a health risk and not a lock for #3.

Bobby Abreu, or Wells, tough choice, but i say Abreu. He is not the most powerfull hitter, but he isnt the weakest. He is a great baserunner, and he can get tons of runs. he has a great bat too, so he will get a lot of RBI's. No one will walk him in this lineup. Who would walk him to get to someone like A-Rod or Giambi

I would keep Wells. Abreu is injury prone. He does help out with numerous stats (BA, HR, RBI, SB, R), but Wells upside, age, and power outweighs Abreu. I owned Abreu last year and won my league, though. It's hard to go wrong on this one. They're both great.

Wells. He will hit you more homers. Plus he is younger and still not reached his full potential. Abreu is on the decline. Also Abreu was never a power hitter.

Fanasty? Dude, Vernon Wells man. He's a stud. Not even a question.
Vernon is an all star, and Abreau is a very good player. Keep Vernon Wells- or your going to be regretting it.
One more time- keep Wells.
