In major events like this in the past, such as JFK and Pearl Harbor, investigations were launched within 2 weeks. Why didn't our president launch an investigation into 9/11 sooner? It took pressure from the Jersey Girls to finally start one.
Is this not suspicious to you?
Oh yeah, Bush didn't want to reveal how we get our information...but then what was FDR thinking launching an investigation so soon after pearl harbor?
As the English say.....BULLOCKS!!! or however you spell that.

Hey Real,
I believe that planes flew into the buildings too. So what do you have now?

What investigation . Its was a report issued to curb the rampant spread of information that linked 9-11 to the Bush administration and Saudi Royal family .
That Most of the HiJackers where Saudi and that suspicious evidence was circulating that Bush had told senior FBI officials to drop close surveillance of the suspected terrorists .
There is certainly a cover up going on here but the truth is so outrageous that no one would ever accept it .

No doubt about it planes did fly into the World Trade Center buildings and the Penatagon. But it is not so simple as a bunch of wacko Islamic radicals stole some planes and set out to crash them into buildings.
I found an interesting book that sheds light on the whole story.
"The 9/11 Commission Report Omissions and Distortions", by David Ray Griffin
"You're Not Stupid! Get The Truth", by William John Cox

No, it's not suspicious to me. Congress normally operates slowly, thus the need for the President to exercise executive powers to move troops right after the attack. The 9/11 Commission and its funding were authorized by the 107th Congress:

The 9/11 commission was a dog and pony show. Both political parties had a lot to hide. Some of the main offenders like Janie (the Wall) Garrilik were even on the commission. She should have been testifying in front of it.
Any useful information would have to be classified anyway unless you wanted the enemy to know more than they already do about our weaknesses.

no, I really don't think the time after the fact was all that important. We knew who, why, and the fact that it did happen. The demand for the commission was nothing more than appeasement. 9/11 was a horrible day after which I went to 7 separate funerals. Which is why I reenlisted, but it was a calculated attack by a determined enemy who took the initiative and caught us with out pants and guard down. Its no ones fault but the people who flew the planes and the ones who told them to. Now they MUST pay......all of them. We shouldn't rest or withdraw till all of them have been beaten and removed from the face of the earth.
The commision and the investigation was a waiste of time and resources and for what?

additionally, there was only one investigation allowed into 9/11. for JFK and Pearl Harbor there several, including independent investigations. There is only one reason to control information. If you control the data then you control the people, Hitler knew this well as does GWB.

It really doesn't matter when.........the 9/11 commission conducted a FULL investigation into the incident. The commission may not have started until later, but you can bet evidence was being gathered all along and categorized to make it easier on the commission. No, this is not suspicious to me.

Great question! And when they did get the sham commission going they obstructed justice. Meaning they were guilty.
38. Senator Bob Graham also said: "High officials in [the Saudi Arabian] government, who I assume were not just rogue officials acting on their own, made substantial contributions to the support and wellbeing of two of these terrorists and facilitated their ability to plan, practise and then execute the tragedy of September 11." These investigations remain blocked, classified, covered-up and unresolved to this day by the Bush administration's clear Obstruction of Justice.
39. Senator and 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland resigned, saying: "This is the most serious independent investigation since the Warren Commission. And after watching History Channel shows on the Warren Commission last night, the Warren Commission blew it. I'm not going to be part of that. I'm not going to be part of looking at information only partially. I'm not going to be part of just coming to quick conclusions. I'm not going to be part of political pressure to do this or not do that. I'm not going to be part of that. This is serious."

WHAT DID THE 9/11 COMMISSION REALLY SAY? NOTHING THAT WE DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW. IT WAS A WASTE OF TAX PAYER MONEY. WHY WOULD PEARL HARBOR HAVE HAD BEEN INVESTIGATED. IT WAS KNOWN THAT THE JAPANESE BOMBED IT. OR WAS THEIR ANOTHER CONSPIRACY THEORY TO THAT TOO. WHAT ABOUT THE MUSLIM JERK IN GITMO THAT CONFESSED TO ALL THE 9/11 STUFF PLUS AT LEAST 28 OTHER PLOTS. DID BUSH PAY HIM ALSO?

Actually this doesn't surprise me at all. The government is really, really slow at getting anything done. To me it seems like all the Democrats and Republicans want to do is fight each other than try and actually lead this country.
We need to vote them ALL (dem and rep) out of office!!!
