Ye gods! For some of us that wasn't history, it was "just last week".

I did rather fancy Cherie Gillespie from Pan's People though. It sure made my zimmer frame wobble when they were on; but I bet you can't remember the "Go Jo's". They were on ToTP before Pan's People.

I can also remember Twizzle and Torchy the Battery Boy and Muffin the Mule (it was legal then). There was also Railway Roundabout, the 6-5 Special, Adam Adamant, Four Feather Falls, Stingray, The Tonight programme with Cliff Mitchelmore. etc. etc.

The Singing Ringing Tree with the princess and the wicked dwarf and the poor large fish when the moat dried up, and in the end the bear turned into the prince. I also remember Follyfoot Farm, Catweazle and a magician called Tarot in a programe called Ace of Wands - I loved that. Oh yes and Robinson Crusoe - he was quite good looking and blonde, it was a foreign programe and it was dubbed in English.

Yes, I remember all of those which you named. Why did you not mentioned the now defamed "Blue Peter"?

I also remember, "Highway Patrol", "Sargeant Bilko", "The Munsters", "The Adams Family", "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", "Rawhide", "Champion the Wonder Horse", and a whole bunch more besides. You notice how much American stuff we had on TV back in the 1950s?

Also add, "I Love Lucy". And people think UK ain't the 51st State...huh!
