I say this to loads of people who want to write songs; WRITE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL FROM YOUR HEART!!! That way you won't come up with sh*t. And about the song topic thing, steal it, loads of modern songs are about the same things, and it's not like Avril Lavigne is gonna read your song. Well, unless you become a singer lol. Some topics I use are: if something p*sses me off, friends, family, death, stress, but most importantly, something that is happening in your life right now ((and don't say nothing is happening, 'cos I bet there is!))

Try writing about your own life and experiences but give it an unusual twist. For example I once wrote a song about finding out that my girlfriend was seeing another bloke behind my back....but I wrote it from the perspective of the other guy. The song was called 'It's My Turn Now'
Wanna read the lyrics?
You're going through the motions
You've seen good love gone bad
You're clutching at the straws
Of a life you never had
You see your own reflection
In her eyes and watch it fade
You're holding her to promises
That she never made.
You're lost at sea with no sight of land
Fighting for breath like a fish on the sand
Come see the slaughter of your sacred cow
You've had your chance
It's my turn now.

how about how you will never sing! that would be original!
Or writing about searching for a topic!
or a job interview
or a funeral
waiting to fill a tank with petrol.
paying for something by card when you know it may not fit on and it could be rejected infront of all those customers!
...or were you wanting something a little less real?

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/4mL6h
Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.
The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

The Dreamer - talk about someone who lost love and locked up "the Dreamer" inside of them because he was to blame for making him/her belive such beautiful things and being so disappointed later. He/she punished the dreamer

I write my best when I'm emotional. When I'm mad, my lyrics are angry. When I'm sad, my lyrics are gloomy. When I'm happy, my lyrics are... cheesy as hell but they're still good!
