I've felt all of mine at different times. My first was 20 weeks. My 2nd was around 15 weeks. And it depends if you know what you are feeling. Sometimes in the beginning it can feel like bubbles. Like you might be feeling as if you are having gas bubbles, but you aren't you know...having gassy issues. =) When the baby gets bigger and stronger, you will be able to tell the difference in a big way. The foot or knee poking out the side or front of your stomach. It's really cool.

cool down. Your toddler IS moving around precise now, you're in basic terms no longer conscious of it because of the fact the strikes are so diffused. 17 weeks continues to be notably early to be feeling your toddler circulate, noticeably which comprise your first when you consider which you do no longer comprehend precisely what to "look" for. attempt eating some thing extremely chilly and then laying down(i've got discovered my left area works) and actually concentration on your toddler. Its strikes precise now would be equivalent to butterfly wings or small waves. despite in case you do no longer sense something yet there is not any reason for alarm. it is going to take place in the subsequent couple of weeks.

I felt my little boy very early on (although my hubby joked it was just wind and wishful thinking, and I guess it could have been)
I didn't feel by little girl until over 20 weeks though, I think it depends on how hard your wailing for those first flutters. If your on the look out for them you could easily feel movement at 17 weeks, try laying quietly on your bed and see what happens.

I am also 17 weeks with my first. I have felt the baby twice and both times was barely noticeable. The average gestation age for quickening is 18 weeks

It feels like little bubbles popping in your stomach , you may not realise when you're feeling it because it doesn't feel like "kicks" until later on in your pregnancy. Drinking ice cold drinks or having a warm bath is when the baby tends to move more. I felt her move at about 16 weeks.
