Yes and No! Shaq is on the downhill of his career, but he still demands the double-team and sometimes more. I think its his reputation and what teams feel he can do that is really carrying the team. Let's face it, Shaq by far may still be the most dominant center of our generation but his numbers are declining. His minutes are also down due to all the injuries that have taken their toll on his body. I remember when Shaq was really like a superman, but now he gets some weird injury every year. Yet some how he finds a way to elevate his game around playoffs. So to answer your question...at this point of the season, I think its been players like Eddie Jones, Jason Kapono, Udonis Haslem and other role players that have stepped their game up to carry the team. Now in the playoffs, I totally expect Shaq to put the team on his back because no one knows how D. Wade's arm will respond after a few games.

Carrying*.

I think O'Neal has been a big threat, but honestly, I have to go with some very good role players aka Eddie Jones and Haslem. They've been playing extremely good down the stretch.

Ala against the Nets last night, Eddie Jones played over 42 minutes. That's a lot. He was all over. He's been playing terrific.

But to answer your question- I'd have to say, yes, but the role players have stepped up. Big.
