tornado, and how do conventional wood structures fare up against brick buildings under both hurricanes and tornadoes?

Brick buildings stand up better to tornadoes and hurricanes, but even few of them can withstand a Force 5 tornado or Category 5 hurricane.Frame homes fare very poorly unless specially braced, and even then cannot withstand the stronger storms.
