I guess there are at least two ways to look at this. First Culture is an environment. It is the way that we grow up and all of the ceremony's and rituals that effect our life.

Second; that same culture can effect the environment as a whole. For instance: American cultural sense of independence has led us to want individual automobiles instead of mass transit. This becomes an environmental problem as the number of automobiles increases.
