Very good question ...
I'm sure we have ...without even realising it ... but this generation never really learned to be men...
and the next one ..forget it ...
there are a lot of different reasons for this ...but that would take ages to explain ...
I think girls have more interest in being men than boys do these days ... shame... but I think that there is a lot of role confusion in general nowdays ... for which men spend too much time blaming women instead of standing up and being men.
Its also a case of do women still like theClint Eastwood type ... or is it more David Beckham these days
you get what you ask for!!!
maybe I should open a boot camp... because I certainly am a man.

Many have become emasculated by political correctness. These days, what was once considered typical male behaviour, is often criticized as being too harsh and not proper.
As for men being gentlemen, the easiest way to find one is for a woman to be a lady. It's amazing how gentlemen suddenly appear in the presence of a lady.

Of course!
When ye have so many homes without a male role model or at least a positive male in their lives, boys tend to "fem-up"
I'm not knocking single moms, I was raised by one. Everybody has their own plight as to how they got that way, but now days it is cyclical....if ye are raising a mama's boy, he reproduces, but has no stay in there power, creating another single mom home......
Whatever happened to protected sex?

Now if you mean the sterotypical man that loves football, sex and beer, then no. I think tons of men still love that lifestyle. But if you mean like old-fashioned gentleman, then yes.. Many men aren't polite like how they used to be.

I know what you mean but the truth is women have been on a campaign to domesticate them for many years now and they are starting to win the battle.

do I loorrvve your question.
I think your question is soooo revealing. Men have become jealous of females femininity. Men have got to become human beings once again instead of robotic chatter uppers.
Come on men lets see your elequent conversations that were once invitingly interesting.

I wish some of them (most of them) would be more of a "Gentlemen", like men were, in past generations.
