You can contact local jewelers and ask them to appraise and purchase your gemstones - or to refer you to jewelers who do.

Jewelers are usually in the market for jewels and precious metals, as well as semi- precious stones. Prices often vary with the market, the quality of the product, availability, and demand. Shop around, some will pay more than others, so don't sell at the first quote. And not all stores selling jewelry have a jeweler, but many can help in finding one.
