As of Feb. 5, 2007, all employees who work in San Francisco whether they work part time, full time or even as a temp, they are entitled to a paid sick leave. However, as a temp, only one staffing agency notified me on how I can use the sick leave law. I am also registered with other agencies as well for work, but they didn't notify me on how it will affect their clients. But somebody told me that I was suppose to be notified. So, do the other agencies don't think I am an employee?

It's a sign they don't consider you as an employee in any category. I would suggest asking them why they did not send you a notice.

Well if you're not currently working for those agencies, they probably don't consider you an employee. Next time you took a job with them they would probably notify you of the change.
