C'mon! This past election was a farse. The only thing the democrats did was run against the current administration. I didn't hear 1 candidate that actually came up with a novel idea and ran on that idea and won!

OMG the incredible faith you must have in the Democrats!!! to think that they would be able to undo all the damage in a few months that a Republican government took 6 years to create. Please, be patient, they still have many Republicans still there trying very hard to roadblock their efforts, they just need a little more time.

Every one of the candidates that won, and especially the ones that took back seats from republicans had one novel idea that they use to win:

"End the do-nothing, rubberstamp congress that has been enabling this administration to continue a 1/2 trillion dollar war that is no closer to being won than it was three years ago"

WWII was over in less time!!!

Now we see who is still trying to keep our military in the midst of a civil war that continues to degrade further and further - its the dems that are offering solutions. The GOP are responsible for starting this war, and responsible for continuing it with no strategy for victory.

So true. In fact, the democrats have control of the Congress...which they claim would CHANGE everything for the better and they haven't done squat. Democrats just bash the other party to deflect the attention away from the fact, they too have no alternative ways to solve the dilemmas they complain Bush ignores or does badly.
Janus, the Roman God (two face god of war),describes a huge majority of liberal democrats!

You could not be more wrong. The Democrats are offering many solutions to the problem of the on going war against the enemies of this country. Their solutions all involve one common theme, to surrender.

actually the voters voted for change. problem is politicians are all the same. They all want power, so the libs took advantages of the incompetence of the current admin and won. they are done thats all they wanted anyway.

If Bush would quit f**king up, there would be nothing to criticize. Bush has screwed our country up so bad that people are happy with anyone else. Sara, I hate to give a reality check, but the reasons that the Dems have not been able to pass legislation is because the Rep. in the House are blocking it using a fillibuster.

Well, the central issue in the mid-terms seemed to be whether to "stay the course" in Iraq, or start bringing our troops home.

Within two months of taking office, there are a half-dozen different proposals currently being debated on how/when to bring the troops home.

So, while you may not agree with those solutions, they do seem to be what the current majority of Americans want.
