A scope in that price range is at the low end of anything usable. You will be able to see detail on the moon; decent images of Jupiter and Saturn (on a good night, you may see some of the bands on the planets, the rings will be OK.) Mars will be a small dot and if you use your imagination, you may see some detail. Deep sky objects like nebulae and galaxies in general will be smudges (with no color) except for the Orion nebula and a few others. It's a lot of fun, but don't expect anything like the photo's you see from big time telescopes.

See the source for some good beginner telescopes. But you will be disappointed if you don't know what to look at and how to point it. You cannot just randomly point it at the sky and see things like the Hubble pictures. You need to learn where things are and how to look at them. Get a star atlas and binoculars. Look at the Moon and planets with your telescope. It takes work. Most people just waste their money because they aren't really interested in astronomy, they just want to see pretty pictures, and no small telescope will show you anything in the sky as well as the Hubble pictures on line.
