I ride the terain park most often, but i love to get out all over the mountain. I've seen those new NXT Flows, and they look cool, but I LOVE my Burton Cartels. They're great for freestyle, but don't think that park is all they can do. The captstraps are a god-send holy miracle of magic. They keep you back in the binding as well as down, and the uber highbacks are so responsive. Plus the green and white is just so hot it could melt the snow.

the flow bindings are the best the are easy simple i love them you will 2 Flow Bindings are making their mark on the Snowboarding industry with their patented technology that you will ONLY find with Flow. This new technology is much easier at the top of the hill and at the bottom with their impressive step-in, step-out technology and gives you a tight secure hold all the way down the mountain. Flow binding is where snowboarding is headed.

I think your question got cut off. Perhaps it was if money... "was no issue?" or if money... "was tight?".

In any case, the Flow bindings and the K2 Cinch bindings are a slightly new method of getting in and out of bindings, and you might like them or you might hate them. I've heard of people liking them, but my girlfriend has the Cinch bindings and they seem like a pain in the butt.

If I had to recommend a brand, I would say Rome, Ride and Burton in that order, but of course that's personal preference. It also depends on what you're doing. If you're set on Burton, you might want to check out the Cartels for park riding and the CO2s for freeride stuff. The Rome 390s are supposed to be outstanding bindings. Check those out too.

The answer is, there's no "best" binding. There's different types for different styles. Each company makes a higher end binding, so try to find a brand that you like, and don't just buy it because you've heard of them. However, I've heard mixed things about Technine bindings, so if you want to get those be careful.

I prefer FLOW, easy and fast to use once you have them ready. It might take a bit longer to mount and adjust them. But after that it's a lot faster than strap bindings.
