would liberals trust the clintons, gore, george soros, ted turner, john murtha, pelosi, obama, keith ellison, etc. to pay the same taxes? they always bash the "evil rich" and want to take their money. these democrats are also very rich, soros is a billionaire. maybe these people (including conservatives) dont pay taxes now, but at least the people pay less taxes. so would liberals trust their own rich segment to pay their taxes? maybe their funds are all offshore...

I rather like the proposal to eliminate the income tax in favor of the National Sales Tax. Consider this...
with a National Sales Tax, the rich would pay more than the poor because they spend more. What good is it to be rich other than the possessions it affords you? A luxury car, a mansion, a yacht. These are things typical middle class people cannot afford. A National Sales Tax balances the playing field and places the burden on those that are better off, while encouraging savings for the future.

If taxes are raised, small businesses and people in the working and middle classes get hurt. Less jobs, less choice for the consumer, higher prices for everybody... With liberals the rich get richer, bums get hand outs and the people who work for a living get screwed...

No. I don't trust that anyone in Government is actually paying taxes. I think we should do a complete audit of there books and make them pay all their back taxes.
