Seems to me if they were loved they would have proper equipment and wonderful benefits when they return home. How can anyone possibly disagree with that?

I am not sure if “hate” is the most apt phrase to describe Neocon sentiments towards are servicemen and women. Valerie Plame, though not officially in the military, was a civil servant involved in matters of protecting this country’s vital interests. So yes, there was a betrayal, on the part of some Neocons, of her.
Its unfair to say all Neocons are out to undermine our service people, just as the caricature, by Neocons, that all liberals are tree huggers, is an unfair portrayal as well. Many Neocons are truly as patriotic as their rhetoric states, while many others merely pay lip service to patriotic values, while all the while treating are men and women in the armed services and in our intelligence agencies as pawns in their chess game. Its unfortunate that our President, Vice President and most of his cabinet are of the latter pseudo-patriotic character and not genuine patriots.

Plame was and is a Secretary. But hey in the Democrat world that's the same as a covert operative. Just like requesting purple harts for self inflicted wounds and defaming your fellow soldiers is the same as a war hero in the Democrat world.

So because of one person's actions, you generalize the whole group? Not very intelligent on your part. I'm a Conservative, I have 4 family members that are marines and serving in Iraq right now. I support their mission. I would also be a service member but I didn't pass the physical. I have too much of a hearing loss due to loud music. But if I could go, then I would. So stop generalizing because it makes you sound naive and uneducated.

Obama's conflict adverse to Libya illustrates the version between the so-called "Bush Doctrine" and our contemporary President's regulations. Bush desirous to strike proactively adverse to countries and leaders which threaten united states. He had already neutralized Qaddafi in the conflict on Terror. Obama's attitude is to promote instability in huge swaths of the middle East -- including Egypt and Libya -- the position the leaders were no longer threatening the U.S. and (with regards to Egypt) were taking part in the conflict on Terror. Now we are attending to do not ignore that 2,000 warmth looking for missiles have fallen into the palms of Al Qaeda. Obama's motives stay uncertain. .

You have it backwards. For the most part, save few exceptions, these ultra-conservatives you refer to as Neo-Cons have more respect and admiration for our service men and women then the Liberals that want to keep cutting their pay, their supplies, their benefits, etc.
As a veteran, I can tell you I got more support from the Conservatives than the Liberals!
Valerie Plame can answer for her own personal opinions.

It's the loopy left that wants to take away the support for our troops. That's where the real hate lies, spurred on by jealousy because the leftys don't have the courage to stand up for this Country by serving in uniform. they are dispicable.
No, she's just another political hack who sent her failed ambassador husband on a mission of investigation where they had already pre-ordained the answer he'd come back with. The joke is that they didn't even get that right. jackass Joe Wilson has had more flip-flops than John kerry, if that's possible.

Covert agents have died because of the type of action by someone in the administration.
The outing of a US covert agent - ESPECIALLY during wartime, undermines national security. Someone has to answer for this.

And you can not be in a covert assignment while working out of the CIA head quarters every day.
