career options for international medical graduates in USA other than residency?

Hi ,
I know that International medical graduates plan for residency in USA.I would like to know what other career options are there for them other than joining residency.do they need to study again for those careers or they can enter directly.If possible can you direct me to a website ,that would be more helpful.thanks in advance.

Before you pursue this further, check with your dean's office. Many years ago, at my med school our degree was conditional upon completing an approved internship.(I can't speak to the legality of this.)

At any rate, taking a residency certainly opens career options.
