Hi DW..=).....I think if someone is mature enough to understand the permanent nature of a tattoo then they can get one..My 14 yr old Niece has one,& I see nothing wrong with it..Its a lacey looking heart on her ankle..I have one too but I didn't get it until my late 20's..Just never thought of doing it until then though..=)

I kid you not I saw an 8 year old with one.Now why the parents would EVER get their children a real tat that age is beyond me! I think they should have top be at least 18.I got a tattoo at 15 and now hate it but then I thought it was the coolest thing ever,it just shows that is too young to realize just how permanent things can be

Actually, I have no idea, but they are definitely not four or eight or twelve or fifteen year old children, for crying out loud. (pun intended!) A pre-natal tattoo? Have people lost their friggin minds???
I do like tattoos, but I don't have a tattoo. I think a person should be at least eighteen, before being allowed to permanantly decorate their bodies with tattoos, or piercings too, for that matter.

I prefer 18, but I saw a 9-year-old with a barb wire tattoo around his bicep.

I know this guy he is either fourteen or fifteen and he had a tattoo on his wrist. It was a cross and he pretended to be 18 or above to get one.

I think you can get one while being 16, but your parents have to sign some contract. I could be completely wrongs as some kid in class told me this.

My cousin's baby had a prenatal tattoo done. It was very tricky and very time consuming. Took them about twelve months to finish it.

He's 18 I think....I suppose people should wait until they're legal and get one done professionally if they're going to do it, but I can't say much because I did mine myself when I was 15...

Twelve is way too young. Wait til you are eighteen, making sure that's what you want for the rest of your life.
