Would the top-ranked men's slowpitch softball team have a chance against an assemblage of major league baseball players? I think they might. Slowpitch is a pretty different game than baseball. It's all about bashing the ball over the fence. Defense and other nuance skills are a joke. So you have a bunch of huge dudes who specialize in crushing the ball. Well, come to think of it, baseball has a number of huge dudes who can smash a softball over a fence 230 feet away as well. Maybe they would have a chance.

The Pro's wouldn't make an out. The skills that major leaguers possess enabling them to hit major league pitching make hitting a big, lobbed, non-breaking softball just an easy chip shot over, what, maybe a 300ft. fence.

With that said, while the SB team could never beat them, they'd never loose either. All the players in both line ups would be dead by the time the pro's made the 12 outs (if they're the home team, 15 if not) required to make it an official game.
