I give way more thumbs ups than thumbs downs. I only give a thumbs down if I think the answer is really bad. I don't like to give one just because I disagree with an opinion. Sometimes I give someone a thumbs up just because someone else gave them a thumbs down for no good reason

It sure seems like it. I have seen answers in other categories with 20-30 thumbs up next to them. I guess everyone is in a big hurry to answer a question and get their 2 points and get to the next one as fast as they can. We need to be a little less point greedy and stop, read, and appreciate some of the entertaining answers.

I agree! I almost always give thumbs up or down...it's nice to see either given for my answers as well.
