By religion -> To live life in the way the god/s has stated and get the divine reward after death.

By philosophy -> To find deeper and personal meaning as to why you exist as a person, other than what is defined by religion and science.

By science -> The meaning of life is securing future life. Reproduction and securing the life for future generations is what matters.

Or from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy... then the answer is 42.

Lunkwill: Do you...
Deep Thought: Have an answer for you? Yes. But you're not going to like it.
Fook: Please tell us. We must know!
Deep Thought: Okay. The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything is...
[wild cheers from audience, then silence]
Deep Thought: 42.

The meaning of life is one of the oldest and the most fundamental philosophical topics. Scholars, writers and artists have discussed for thousands of years a number of questions related to this topic: What is the meaning of life? Is the meaning of life subjective or objective? What kind of conditions does one need to satisfy in order to have a meaningful life? Is life meaningful even if we are mortal?

The meaning of life is found, not by searching, but by choosing. What do YOU want your life to mean?

Meanings of life are in its living, for no amount of words can ever contains what life is all about. Can a woman know in words what love is until she bears a child and experience the love for her child for the first time?

We see people who make us feel great without telling us in words what to do and how to think; we see beauty of nature and grandeur of this universe and we know that we are a part of something extra-ordinarily majestic and aw-inspiring in both scale and structure; we see that we endure hardships resort to live. And when we do just that we experience sense of happiness and victory than we know life the way we cannot tell in words; we feel alive and make other feel the same.

We have a choice, we can let ourselves go along the currents of this mighty ocean of life in time, rising and sinking helplessly alongside its indifferent strong rapids, or we can learn to swim, learn to accept that having an opportunity to live and actual living is not the same, that we can accept the challenge and give hundred percent in response, we can learn to swim and learn to cut our way through currents to steer ourselves along the direction we wan to go. Meaning of life is in the making of life one of our own, with a sense purpose, and a mission.

Let us take religion and philosophy out the question and just answer the question at its most primal form. The meaning of life is to get to point where you can have and live with "unconditional self acceptance". To accept yourself with your strengths and flaws will give you a meaningful life. Things are neither good nor bad but judgments that you place on them

Life dos not come built with its own meaning, no prepackaged manuals. Its you who will make its meaning, sometimes people find the meaning of life but they never really realize it, and sometimes its too difficult to describe in words.

In summary, it's to obey the Ten Commandments and resist the temptations of Satan.

Man was created to prove himself by doing these two things. God is planning on making reproductions of Himself through Mankind. You can proove youself that you are worthy of this by following the Ten Commandments and resisting the temptations of Satan. Before Satan was Satan, he was Lucifer, and Lucifer was the head of all the angels, he got jealous of God and tempted the 1/3 angels on earth that was with him to overthrow God on His thrown, but He was cast out and became Satan. Now God made Man to prove himself to God so this won't happen again.

Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -
